How Much Discipline?
Although I am a HUGE fan of National Geographics show "The Dog Whisperer," I also recognize that not all animals require the amount of discipline that Cesar Milan would recommend on his show. The most important part of my job is to help the animal feel safe and content. So I practice the level of discipline (or lack) that his/her mom and dad would. That is why we must ask many questions at the initial consultation. As much as I enjoy keeping up the level of training, I do find it pleasant to have the opportunity to really spoil a pet if that is what he/she is accustommed to.
We visit with pets to walk, feed and/or just play. Since routine is important to animals, we do our best to keep the same environment for them while their companions are away as well as visit at the same time each day. Great care is given to see that client homes are kept in excellent condition upon their return. To this end, I often bring my own utensils and sleeping bag for overnight visits.
Is Pet Sitting For You? If you would like a quality, professional sitter to visit your home mid day to let your dog out and give them a good walk, we would like to talk with you. We take care of our animal companions while you are away so they can remain comfortable in their home environment. We are looking for pet owners who treat their animals as actual members of the family with voting power and all of its privileges. We also specialize in multiple pet homes and animals that have come from rescued backgrounds yet still remain controllable.
